A clear reading guide that helps readers keep their place
The MTA Essentials Reading Guide Sentence Strip Small, Clear, supplier code ERSQ-B1CL, is a lightweight, transparent plastic strip that slips over text so a reader can track a single line at a time.
MTA Essentials developed its Reading Guide products to support students and adults who skip lines, reverse or transpose letters, lose their place or experience eye fatigue while reading. The window measures 3.2cm by 19cm, and the supplier says it guides the eyes smoothly across the page to reduce skipped lines, re-reading and frustration.
The guide slips neatly over books, worksheets and printed material, so it moves easily between the classroom, home and office. MTA Essentials suggests it for individual reading sessions, literacy intervention programs, guided reading and assessments, used independently or with a teacher or support worker.
MTA Essentials also makes this reading guide in other colours and a large size for different readers. Browse teacher resources, educational teacher supplies, everyday classroom supplies and the wider educational supplies catalogue.
