Six soft textured balls for sensory play and movement
The Elizabeth Richards Sensory Balls Set of 6, supplier code ERSJSB6, is a set of soft, textured 9 cm balls in six colours for sensory exploration and physical development in young children.
Elizabeth Richards states the balls are made from durable PVC and phthalate-free material. The brand gives an age range of 1 to 5 years, adding that older children can also enjoy them for sensory activities and relaxation. The textured surface adds tactile feedback during crawling, grasping and coordination activities, and the brand suggests gently rolling a ball on a child's back or feet.
One set supports both movement and quiet sensory time: crawling games, rolling, balance and coordination activities, then a slower tactile break. Six colours also give children something to sort and match, so the balls double as a colour recognition activity.
Use the balls in movement games, then bring them out again for a quiet tactile break. Add more tactile resources from early learning sensory and sensory toys, or browse physical education equipment and the Elizabeth Richards range.
