A high-back tub that keeps taller books standing upright
The Elizabeth Richards Plastic Book Tub in Blue, supplier code ERPBTB, is a high-back plastic tub for holding books, folders and binders upright on a classroom or library shelf.
Elizabeth Richards designs the tub with a high back so taller books and binders stay upright and easy to reach. The supplier lists the internal size at the narrowest point as 10cm wide, 26.7cm deep and 19cm high, and the external size at the widest point as 14.5cm wide, 30cm deep and 19cm high. It is made from plastic with a wipeable surface.
Students can find a book and put it back on their own, which Elizabeth Richards says builds independence. A blue tub can stand for one subject, reading group or student in a colour-coded system. The supplier lists the tub as compatible with its Self-Adhesive Label Pockets, so the contents can be named at a glance.
Other colours of this tub are listed as separate products, so you can build a colour-coded shelf. See more plastic tubs and tote trays, the Elizabeth Richards range, everyday classroom supplies and book box supplies.
