A pocket dice you fill with your own prompts
The Elizabeth Richards Pocket Cube Dice, supplier code ERPCD, is a cube with 10 x 10 cm faces and a clear vinyl pocket on each of its six faces, for inserting flashcards, photos or prompts.
Elizabeth Richards lists each face at 10 x 10 cm. The dice is sold individually and cards are not included, though the supplier offers Pocket Cube Dice templates to download. It presents the dice as a hands-on resource for maths, literacy and social-emotional learning, for group games, independent learning or one-on-one activities.
Changing the cards changes the lesson: numbers for counting games, sight words or letters for reading practice, or emotion cards and photos for wellbeing discussions. The supplier also suggests writing prompts and conversation starters for group discussions, and says the dice supports differentiated instruction across subjects.
Fill the pockets with your own cards or the downloadable templates, and swap them as often as the lesson needs. Browse more maths equipment, educational games, teacher resources and the Elizabeth Richards range.
