An orange bin that shows book covers, not spines
The Elizabeth Richards Book Bin in Orange, supplier code ERBBINO, is a plastic book bin that lets students find and pick up books with the covers facing forward.
Elizabeth Richards designs the bin so books sit cover-forward, which the supplier says makes choosing a book easier. The top measures 35.5cm long and 28cm wide, the base 28cm long and 20cm wide, and the bin is 18cm high at the back and 12.5cm at the front. It is made from durable, easy-to-clean polypropylene plastic.
An orange bin can hold one genre, reading level or subject, an approach Elizabeth Richards suggests for colour-coded sorting. Students can browse and return books on their own. When the bins are not in use, the supplier says they stack neatly, and the wipeable surface keeps cleaning simple.
Elizabeth Richards makes the bin in 9 colours, and other colours are listed on a separate product. See plastic tubs and tote trays, book box supplies, the Elizabeth Richards range and classroom organisation.
