Soft fabric chews for children who prefer cloth
The Elizabeth Richards Absorbent Sensory Chew, supplier code ERASC6, is a set of 6 terry cloth chews in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, made for moderate chewers.
Elizabeth Richards designs the chews to redirect children from chewing and biting their clothing or other items. Unlike smooth silicone or rubber chews, the terry cloth soaks up drool, which the supplier says keeps shirts dry even after extended periods of chewing. They suit oral-focused children who prefer the texture of fabric or towel.
The supplier lists the chews as a support for the challenges of ADHD, sensory processing disorder and autism, and says they help redirect from biting and self-injury at school and while travelling. Each chew is 100% polyester and can be machine washed, then air dried. Elizabeth Richards lists the size of each chew as 73cm.
