A large translucent tray for sand and water play
The EDX Education Sand and Water Play Tray in translucent, EDX item code 66026, is a plastic play tray measuring 110 x 60.5 x 21.5cm deep, supplied on a 58cm high stand.
EDX describes a strong and versatile plastic play tray for water play and exploration, on a sturdy tubular frame fitted with two lockable castors for easy movement. The set includes one tray with a 58cm high stand and comes without a lid. The distributor, Educational Vantage, notes a water release plug in the bottom for easy discharge.
The deep tray gives a group room to pour, scoop and experiment together. EDX positions it for exploring maths and science ideas such as gravity, floating and sinking, and measuring. EDX designs it for indoor use and notes that direct sunlight discolours the plastic through UV exposure.
The same tray is sold in blue as a separate product. See the EDX Education range, more plastic tubs and tote trays, sensory toys for messy play, and early learning and sensory resources.
