A first sorting kit of shapes, bears and fish
The EDX Education First Sorting Kit, EDX code 15912, holds 132 pieces of basic shapes, bears and fish, with a circular sorting tray and lid for storage.
The distributor, Educational Vantage, describes the kit as basic shapes, bears and fish, 132 pieces in total, for young children learning early maths, colours, classifying and sorting. Pieces can be grouped by colour, by shape, or as bears and fish, which suits classifying and sorting activities. A circular sorting tray and lid are included for easy storage.
Sorting by colour, then by shape or animal, gives young children an early taste of maths thinking. Teachers can ask children to count the pieces in each group. The circular tray holds the pieces during play, and the lid turns it into storage at the end of the day.
Shapes, bears and fish arrive ready to sort in their own circular tray. Explore more early maths in the EDX Education range, add maths equipment, browse sensory toys, or find more early learning and sensory resources.
