Indented spoons that help beginners balance a ball
EDX Education Balancing Balls Set of 4, EDX code 63042, is a balance and coordination game with moulded plastic spoons specially indented to hold colourful balls.
The distributor, Educational Vantage, presents the set as a game for improving balance and coordination. The moulded plastic spoons are specially indented to hold the colourful balls, so even beginners can balance successfully. Children balance a ball in the indent of each spoon. Educational Vantage files it under balance and movement resources.
Carrying a ball on a spoon asks children to slow down, watch, and control their steps, which builds balance and coordination. The indent holds the ball in place on the spoon. The set works for relays, obstacle courses and simple walk and carry challenges in PE lessons and classroom movement breaks.
The indented spoons make this a gentle first balancing game. Add more active play from the EDX Education range, browse physical education equipment, find more sensory toys, or explore early learning and sensory resources.
