The set covers a cube, cylinder, cone, triangular prism, square pyramid, triangular pyramid, rectangular pyramid, pentagonal pyramid, hexagonal pyramid, rectangular prism, pentagonal prism and hexagonal prism. EDX gives each solid an 8cm base, with rounded corners and edges. The folding nets come in 5 colours and are made from soft plastic.
EDX designs the set for exploring the properties of 3D solids, the relationship between 2D shapes and 3D solids, volume and capacity, and surface area.
