Throw, catch and count with numbered bean bags
EDX Education 1 to 10 Number and Dot Bean Bags, EDX item code 61070, are a set of 10 bean bags numbered 1 to 10, with matching dots on the reverse of each bag.
EDX lists 10 bean bags, each 10 x 10cm, numbered 1 to 10 in 5 colours. The distributor, Educational Vantage, explains that each bag has a printed number on top and the matching number of dots underneath. EDX describes the bags as great for developing gross motor skills, and sets the age range at 3 to 7 years.
Throw and catch games build hand-eye coordination and gross motor skills, while the numbers and dots support early number recognition and counting. Children can match a numeral to its dot pattern, call out totals, or collect bags in order. EDX positions the set for nurseries, kindergartens and home activities.
Ten numbered bean bags cover counting games and throw and catch in one set. Find more active learning in the EDX Education range, pair the bags with physical education equipment, add counting resources from maths equipment, or browse early learning and sensory play.
