Mix as much black as a lesson needs, from a little to a lot
Educational Colours Tempera Powder Paint 450g Black, supplier code TP450BLK, is a black powder paint that you mix with water or another liquid to make paint as you need it.
Educational Colours describes Tempera Powder Paint as extremely versatile. It can be mixed with water or with liquids such as glue, and added to other materials including modelling clay, plaster and dough. Black is the colour students reach for to outline shapes, darken mixes and add contrast to a painting.
The brand says there are no ratio rules, so you can mix as little or as much black as you need, when you need it. For children's arts and crafts, Educational Colours suggests mixing with water or glue at a ratio of 1 to 1, then adding more powder or more water until the texture suits.
Mix small batches of black for outlines, shading and darkening other colours, and keep a palette handy for each table. Browse more craft paints, painting supplies, painting accessories and the Educational Colours range.
