Plaster gauze for casts and moulded shapes
Educational Colours Mod-Wrap, supplier code MW100, is a single roll of fine gauze impregnated with quick drying plaster. Educational Colours lists the roll at 100mm x 4.6 metres.
Educational Colours describes Mod-Wrap as a versatile craft product that can be bandaged around most forms. It can be wrapped over a base form to build up a shape, and the quick drying plaster holds that shape once dry. Educational Colours describes it as non-toxic, quick and fun. The supplier positions it for creating casts or moulding shapes.
The roll is 100mm wide and 4.6 metres long. Students can cut it into shorter strips and lay them in overlapping layers around a form, building up a cast or a moulded shape. Because it comes as a fine gauze in roll form, students can cut the length each layer needs.
Wrap Mod-Wrap over a simple base form to start a cast or moulded shape. See our papier mache craft supplies, modelling clay and art and craft supplies ranges, or the Educational Colours collection.
