Soft oil pastels that blend and stay put
Educational Colours First Creations Easi-Grip Oil Pastels Set of 12, supplier code EVFCEGOP12, are soft hexagonal oil pastels with pointed tips, packed in a sturdy carry case.
First Creations describes these Easi-Grip Oil Pastels as safe and non-toxic, with rich colour and creamy laydown. Because they are soft, children can blend colours together and experiment, the supplier says, for example by mixing red and yellow to see what colour it makes. Pointed tips allow for detailed drawing and will not break easily.
The hexagonal design makes them easy to grip and ensures they will not roll away. Each pastel is individually wrapped in a matching colour paper sleeve, so colours are easy to identify out of the packet or once worn down, and the carry case keeps all 12 together.
A larger set of 24 is listed separately, and the 3 in 1 crayons and watercolour pencils from First Creations offer other ways to blend colour. Explore oil pastels, craft pastels, drawing supplies and the Educational Colours range.
