A medium lino block you can carve on both faces
The Educational Colours Double-Sided Soft Lino Tile Medium, supplier code VTM220, is a vinyl lino block that Educational Colours designs to be carved on both sides for relief printing.
The brand calls the material smooth yet durable and easy to carve, and points it at students exploring relief printing techniques. Being able to cut both faces doubles the surface available for designs on a single tile. Educational Colours presents the tile as economical and efficient for printmaking. This listing is the Medium size, one of three in the range.
Students can carve a practice design on one face, then turn the tile over for a final design or a fresh project. Educational Colours says the tile handles simple patterns as well as detailed compositions, and describes the prints as crisp. The Medium size sits between the Small and Large tiles.
Add block printing ink, a roller and carving tools to complete a print station. Browse the Educational Colours range, more educational craft supplies, the wider art and craft supplies range and our painting accessories.
