Purple block printing ink for lino and mono printing
Educational Colours Block Printing Ink 250ml Purple, supplier code BP250PUR, is a 250ml jar of purple water-based ink made for lino, mono and wood block printing.
Educational Colours describes the ink as having the right consistency for lino, mono or wood block printing, with excellent tack for consistent coverage that transfers easily onto paper. It dries by a combination of absorption into the paper and moisture evaporation. Purple adds depth to night skies, flowers and patterned prints, and it contrasts well on white or yellow paper.
Purple gives students a richer alternative to black for a single colour print. Educational Colours says the ink gives a sharp, accurate print and a professional finish. It is non-toxic and water-based, and the brand states it washes off easily with water.
Pair it with a brayer, a lino tile and white or yellow paper for contrast. See more painting supplies, craft painting rollers, the Educational Colours range and wider art and craft supplies.
