Black water-based ink for crisp lino and block prints
Educational Colours Block Printing Ink 250ml Black, supplier code BP250BLK, is a 250ml jar of black water-based ink made for lino, mono and wood block printing.
Educational Colours says this ink has the right consistency for lino, mono or wood block printing. It has good tack for consistent coverage and transfers easily onto paper. Drying happens through a mix of absorption into the paper and moisture evaporation. The brand states it is produced in Australia, and the range comes in nine colours.
Black is the classic colour for relief prints, and Educational Colours says the ink gives a sharp, accurate print with a professional finish. It is non-toxic and water-based, and the brand states it washes off easily with water, so rollers and benches clean up quickly.
Pair it with a hard rubber roller and a soft lino tile. See more in the Educational Colours range, craft painting rollers, educational craft supplies and the wider art and craft supplies range.
