Deskmate 0273660 is a dual colour pre-inked stamp that prints COPY in red beside a small blue document symbol, with both inks held inside the stamp.
Once a document has been photocopied or reprinted, the versions start to look alike. Marking the duplicate keeps the original obvious in a file and helps anyone reading it later know which one carries the signature. Two colours make the mark easier to spot on a busy printed page. ACCO list the impression area as 35 x 10mm.
ACCO rate it at approximately 100,000 impressions before re-inking, and say it can be re-inked only with Deskmate stamp ink. Their 10ml pre-inked refills come in red and in blue and are listed for dual colour stamps. ACCO also say not to mix colours and to use the same colour as the original. A protective cap covers the die.
