The Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils combine the precise control of a pencil with the subtle beauty of the watercolour medium. Each pencil features a soft, smooth 3.5mm water-soluble strip encased in Californian incense cedar wood for easy handling and sharpening. Use them dry for blending and layering, or add water to create flowing colour washes. Because the colour is not permanent once dry, you can re-wet and rework it as needed.
This tin contains the complete range of 72 Watercolour Pencils. The hexagonal barrel provides greater control for detailed work, and the highly pigmented formulation delivers maximum colour purity and lightfastness across all shades.
