Thirty Six Pastel Pencils Per Tin, Two Tins Per Box
Derwent R0700307 is the pastel pencil tin of 36 assorted colours, and this listing is a box of 2 tins.
Pastel pencils bring the soft, chalky colour of pastel into a wooden pencil, so an artist can build a portrait, animal study or landscape in layers and still draw a crisp edge where it is needed. Thirty six colours give plenty of choice before any mixing, and two tins let a pair of students or a teacher and a class share the same palette.
ACCO describe the range as easy to mix and blend, with colours that can be layered on top of each other to create new tints and hues. They list the set as suitable for all types of pastel work and ideal for crisp, fine lines and detailed pastel studies. The barrels are round, per ACCO.
Top up single shades from the pastel pencils range, add craft pastels for broad colour, keep points sharp with pencil sharpeners, or browse the Derwent range.
