The Derwent Inktense Outliner pencil delivers a unique water-soluble ink experience in a round, stained ink-blue barrel with a colour dip end and metallic blue trim. Apply the colour dry for smooth, vibrant results, or activate with water to create a vivid ink-like wash that fixes permanently once dry - making it suitable for use on fabric including silk and cotton.
Each pencil features a large colour strip for expressive mark-making and a firm laydown that performs more like a pen than a conventional pencil. Once washed out, colours dry quickly with minimal bleed, so adjacent colours stay crisp and distinct. This box contains 6 Inktense Outliner pencils (reference 2400), ideal for illustrators, fashion designers and botanical artists.
