Derwent Inktense Pencils are water-soluble colour pencils that transform with water into vibrant, ink-like colour. Use them dry for smooth, expressive laydown, or activate with water to unlock intense, permanent colour that fixes on drying - making them suitable for fabric use on silk and cotton as well as paper.

Each pencil features a round barrel with a colour dip end and metallic blue trim, plus a large colour strip for easy identification. The firm laydown delivers bright, vivid results with minimal bleed when colours are placed adjacent, and the fixed-colour finish allows layering once dry. Supplied as a box of 6 in the Bark shade (reference 2000).
