Derwent Inktense Pencils deliver vibrant, water-soluble colour that transforms into permanent ink when activated with water. Once dry, the colour is fixed, making these pencils suitable for use on fabric such as silk and cotton as well as paper. The round barrel features a colour dip end and metallic blue trim for easy shade identification.
Smooth dry application produces intense, expressive colour with a firm laydown that handles more like a pen than a standard pencil. The large colour strip supports broad washes, and because colours dry quickly after wetting, bleeding between adjacent shades is minimal. Each box contains 6 Iris Blue (0900) pencils.
