Derwent Inktense Pencils deliver water-soluble colour in a class of their own. Use them dry for smooth, vibrant laydown, or activate with water to transform the pigment into rich, ink-like washes. Once dry, the colour fixes permanently - making these pencils ideal for use on fabric such as silk and cotton as well as paper.
Each pencil features a round stained ink blue barrel with a colour dip end and metallic blue trim. The large colour strip allows expressive gestures and easy colour washes, while the firm laydown gives a pen-like feel. Colours dry quickly with minimal bleed, so adjacent shades stay crisp and distinct. Sold as a box of 6 Violet (0800) pencils.
