Derwent Inktense Pencils are a water-soluble pencil that transforms when mixed with water - the colour becomes a vibrant, ink-like wash that dries permanent. Once fixed, you can work over the top without lifting the colour beneath, making these pencils suitable for use on fabric including silk and cotton.
Each pencil features a round stained ink blue barrel with a colour dip end and metallic blue trim. The large colour strip delivers expressive gestures and bright, intense colour, while the firm laydown feels closer to a pen than a standard pencil. Colours dry quickly with very little bleed, so adjacent colours stay crisp and clean.
