The Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencil in Vandyke Brown (shade 55) combines the control of a pencil with the subtle beauty of watercolour. Use dry for soft blending and layering, or add water to activate the 3.5mm water-soluble strip and create flowing washes of colour. Unlike permanent ink pencils, watercolour remains re-workable once dry, letting you lift and move colour freely.
The highly pigmented strip is encased in hexagonal Californian incense cedar wood for comfortable grip and easy sharpening. Ideal for mixed media work, subtle painting, and detailed drawing, this box contains 6 pencils of the same Vandyke Brown shade.
