Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils combine the precision of a pencil with the fluid beauty of watercolour. The soft, smooth 3.5mm water-soluble strip can be used dry for detailed drawing or activated with water to create gentle colour washes and blends. Unlike permanent ink pencils, the watercolour pigment can be re-wetted and reworked once dry, giving you full control over your artwork.
Each pencil features a hexagonal Californian incense cedar barrel for comfortable handling and easy sharpening. The highly pigmented core delivers consistent colour purity and good light fastness, making these pencils well-suited to mixed media work, illustration, and fine art practice.
