The Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencil in Juniper Green combines the precision of a pencil with the fluid beauty of watercolour. Use dry for smooth, layered drawing, or add water to blend pigment into soft washes of colour. The 3.5mm water-soluble strip is highly pigmented for strong colour purity and light fastness, and the hexagonal barrel gives greater control for detailed work.
Watercolour is not permanent like Inktense, so dried colour can be re-wetted and moved again - ideal for artists who prefer subtle, reworkable paintings. The strip is encased in Californian incense cedar wood for smooth sharpening and comfortable handling. Sold as a box of 6 pencils in Juniper Green (colour reference 42).
