The Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencil in Turquoise Green (colour 40) combines the control of a pencil with the subtle beauty of watercolour. Use them dry for smooth blending and layering, or activate with water to create gentle colour flows and soft washes. Unlike Inktense, watercolour is not permanent once dry, so you can re-wet and rework colours freely.
Each pencil features a soft, smooth 3.5mm water-soluble strip encased in Californian incense cedar wood, making it easy to sharpen and handle. The hexagonal barrel gives greater control for detailed work, while high pigmentation delivers strong colour purity and light fastness across all applications.
