The Derwent Watercolour Pencil in Delft Blue (shade 28) combines the precision of a pencil with the fluidity of watercolour. Use dry for soft, blendable colour, or activate with water to create smooth washes and interesting colour flows. The highly pigmented, 3.5mm water-soluble strip is encased in hexagonal Californian incense cedar wood for easy handling and sharpening.
Unlike Inktense, watercolour pigment remains re-wettable once dry, letting you rework and move colour freely. The soft, smooth texture makes layering and blending straightforward, and the hexagonal barrel gives greater control for detailed work. Sold as a box of 6 pencils.
