Bring Subtlety and Depth to Your Watercolour Work
The Derwent Watercolour Pencil in Straw Yellow gives you the precision of a pencil and the luminous quality of watercolour in one versatile tool - sold in a convenient box of 6.
Watercolour pencils sit in a category of their own. Unlike ink-based alternatives, these pencils produce softer, more natural colour washes that can be re-wetted and reworked once dry - giving artists and crafters real control over their finished result. The 3.5mm water-soluble strip is highly pigmented for strong colour purity and light fastness, and the hexagonal cedar barrel makes detailed work comfortable and stable in the hand.
Use Straw Yellow dry for layering and blending across fine detail work, or wet a brush and lift the pigment for a fluid painted finish. The soft texture blends easily with other Derwent Watercolour shades, making it a natural choice for mixed media projects where you want a restrained, painterly palette.
A trusted choice for artists, students, and art educators across Australia, this box of 6 ensures you have a ready supply of this core warm-neutral tone. Order today and keep your creative work moving without interruption.
