Derwent Lightfast pencils are formulated to be 100% lightfast, with an oil-based core that resists prolonged colour change so artwork remains unfaded for up to 100 years under museum conditions. All colours comply with ASTM D6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105 standards.
The buttery, velvety texture of the core allows colours to mix and blend directly on the page for a paint-like effect. Rich, vibrant pigments deliver a rapid, opaque laydown, while the strong point supports detailed drawing and layering techniques. This pack contains 6 Platinum shade pencils.
