Derwent Lightfast pencils are formulated to be 100% lightfast, with an oil-based core that resists prolonged colour change so artwork remains vivid for up to 100 years under museum conditions. All colours comply with ASTM D6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105.
The buttery, velvety texture allows colours to mix and blend directly on the page, producing a rich, opaque laydown with a paint-like finish. A strong point supports detailed drawing and precise layering techniques.
