Derwent Lightfast pencils are formulated to be 100% lightfast, with an oil-based core that resists prolonged colour change for up to 100 years under museum conditions. All colours meet ASTM D6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105 standards.
The buttery, velvety texture allows rich, vibrant colours to blend and mix directly on the page, delivering rapid, opaque laydown and a paint-like effect. A strong point supports detailed drawing and precise layering techniques.
