Derwent Lightfast pencils are formulated to be 100% lightfast, with an oil-based core that resists prolonged colour change so artwork remains vibrant for up to 100 years under museum conditions. All colours comply with ASTM D6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105.
The buttery, velvety texture allows rich, opaque colour laydown with strong blending and layering capability. Dark Orange delivers a rapid, vibrant result and can be mixed on the page for a paint-like effect.
