Derwent Lightfast Pencils are formulated to be 100% lightfast, with an oil-based core that delivers a buttery, velvety texture for smooth colour application. All 72 colours comply with ASTM D6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105, and artwork will not fade for 100 years under museum conditions.
The revolutionary core produces rich, vibrant, opaque laydown and allows colours to mix and blend directly on the page for a paint-like effect. A strong point supports detailed drawing and layering techniques. The set is supplied in a presentation tin.
