Derwent Lightfast pencils are formulated to be 100% lightfast, with an oil-based core that resists prolonged colour change so artwork remains vivid for up to 100 years under museum conditions. All colours comply with ASTM D6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105, meeting internationally recognised standards for permanence.
The buttery, velvety texture of the Nightshade shade blends and layers smoothly on the page, delivering rich, opaque colour with a strong point suited to fine detail work. A pack of 6 pencils in the one colour gives artists and illustrators a consistent supply for larger projects.
