Derwent Lightfast pencils are formulated to be 100% lightfast, with an oil-based core that delivers a buttery, velvety texture for smooth blending and layering. Rich, vibrant Yellow Ochre tones lay down rapidly and opaquely, and colours can be mixed on the page to create a paint-like effect.
Tested to internationally recognised standards - ASTM D6901 and Blue Wool Scale ISO 105 - these pencils resist prolonged colour change for up to 100 years under museum conditions. A strong point supports detailed drawing and precise layering techniques.
