Derwent Academy Acrylics are made from rich pigments with a formulation that retains tinting strength, colour vibrancy, and consistency whether used straight from the tube or mixed with other painting mediums. Dilute with water or a painting medium to achieve lighter wash effects, or apply undiluted for bold, opaque coverage.
Once dry, the surface becomes water-resistant. The colours are fully intermixable and can be applied to a wide range of surfaces including canvas, paper, wood, leather, and fabric. Clean all equipment before the paint dries, and always replace caps when tubes are not in use.
