Derwent Inktense Pencils are a water-soluble pencil with a difference. Use them dry for smooth, vibrant colour, or activate with water to transform the pigment into a rich, ink-like wash. Once dry, the colour is permanent - making these pencils suitable for use on fabric including silk and cotton, as well as paper and illustration board.
Each pencil features a round barrel with a colour-dip end and metallic blue trim for easy shade identification. The firm laydown behaves more like a pen than a traditional pencil, delivering large, expressive marks with minimal bleed when colours are placed side by side. Shade reference: Neutral Grey 2120. Sold as a box of 6.
