Derwent Inktense Pencils are a water-soluble pencil that transforms with water. Use them dry for smooth, vibrant colour, or add water to activate an intense, ink-like wash. Once dry, the colour is permanent - ideal for layering and for use on fabric such as silk and cotton.
Payne's Grey (shade 2110) comes in a round, stained ink-blue barrel with a colour-dip end and metallic blue trim. The large colour strip makes expressive gestures easy, and the firm laydown behaves more like a pen than a traditional pencil. Colours dry quickly with minimal bleed, so they can sit side by side without running. Suited to illustrators, fashion designers, and flower artists. Box of 6 pencils.
