Derwent Inktense Pencils deliver vibrant, water-soluble colour that transforms into permanent ink once dry. Use them dry for rich, expressive marks or add water to unlock intense, ink-like washes that dry quickly and resist bleeding - ideal for detailed work where colours sit close together.

The firm laydown feels closer to a pen than a traditional pencil, making them a favourite for illustrators, flower artists and fashion designers. Once fixed, the colour is permanent on paper and suitable for use on fabric such as silk and cotton. Each pencil features a round stained ink blue barrel with colour dip end and metallic blue trim.
