Derwent Inktense Pencils are a water-soluble pencil that works beautifully dry or wet. Add water and the pigment transforms into a vibrant, ink-like colour that dries fixed - meaning you can layer over the top without muddying earlier work. The permanent quality also makes them suitable for use on fabric such as silk and cotton.
Each Navy Blue (0830) pencil features a round stained ink blue barrel with a colour dip end and metallic blue trim. The large colour strip delivers smooth, firm laydown with bright, intense colour. Colours dry quickly with minimal bleed, so adjacent hues stay clean and crisp. Suited to illustrators, flower artists, and fashion designers.
