Black and yellow diagonal striping is read as hazard without anyone needing to be trained on it. That recognition is why it works for marking a step, a low beam, a forklift route or an exclusion zone where a printed sign would be missed.
At 130 microns the tape has the body to survive foot traffic and trolley wheels rather than shredding at the edges within a week. The acrylic adhesive holds on sealed concrete, tile and painted surfaces.
