Wind-up bases that make clay models walk and run
Zart Wind-up Mechanisms Pack of 10, supplier code TQ850, are wind-up armature bases from The Creative School Supply Company that add movement to modelled characters made from modelling foam or Magiclay.
The supplier describes a novel armature base designed for modelling foam and Magiclay creations. You build these lightweight clays around the mechanism, without covering the base, and allow the model to dry. Then you wind it up and watch it go. The pack includes five walking and five running mechanisms.
A character that moves gives a modelling lesson a clear finish: build it, let it dry, then wind it up and watch it go, as the supplier describes. Walking and running versions in one pack allow two kinds of movement, so students can compare how each character travels.
Zart Paper Magiclay and modelling foam are listed separately, along with modelling springs and racer bases for other moving models. Browse modelling clay, craft foam shapes, Zart and educational craft supplies.
