Twenty four pan watercolours that stack and travel
Zart Watercolour Paint Disc Pack of 24, supplier code PT875-24, is a 24 colour pan watercolour set from The Creative School Supply Company, made up of 4 stackable discs.
According to The Creative School Supply Company, each disc holds 6 colours with an empty well in the middle for mixing. The discs unscrew to reveal the paint pans and screw back together for transport and storage. A clear screw top lid, compartmentalised on the underside, works as a palette. The supplier suggests the set for classroom, studio and plein air painting.
Students load colour by working a wet brush into a pan, and the supplier notes that more brushwork gives a more intense colour. Pans are 22mm across. With four discs in one stack, a whole palette of colour packs away neatly in a bag after painting.
The 18 and 36 colour sets sit either side of this one in the range. Add aqua water brushes or soft rounds, and browse watercolours, painting accessories, art and craft supplies and Zart.
