Small wood chips for natural texture in collage
Zart Twig Chips 250g, supplier code NP015, are small chips of wood from The Creative School Supply Company for adding natural texture to collage alongside other found objects.
The supplier describes small chips of wood that make an ideal collage material to add to other found objects. It suggests using PVA or Supertac to glue the chips to paper or card. The chips are listed as approximately 1.5 to 3cm in size, and the bag weight in the title is 250g.
Wood chips add a natural, raised texture that flat paper cannot give, so collage pieces gain depth and interest. Mixed with leaves, feathers and other found objects they suit nature themed artwork. Gluing them down with PVA or Supertac keeps the method simple for a class.
Zart thick twigs, natural matchsticks and Supertac glue are listed separately to build out a nature collage. Browse wooden craft supplies, craft glues, Zart and art and craft supplies for more found materials.
