Woodless pastel pencils that never need sharpening
Zart Woodless Soft Pastel Pencils, supplier code PS020, are a pack of 24 vibrant colours from The Creative School Supply Company, made as all-lead pastel pencils with no wooden casing.
The Creative School Supply Company says these woodless pastel pencils offer greater versatility for long-lasting use. It lists them as suitable for fine and broad strokes and says they produce excellent blending results. The supplier says they are easy to use, with no need to sharpen. The supplier also notes that being all lead makes them fragile when dropped or used heavy-handedly, and advises gentle use.
Woodless pencils give a pastel colour in pencil form for both fine lines and broad strokes, as the supplier describes. Blending lets students soften edges and build gradual shifts between colours. Twenty four vibrant colours give a wide choice in one pack.
Pastel tools and dry pastels in the Zart range work alongside these pencils, and the supplier advises using the pencils gently because the all-lead pencils can break. Browse craft pastels, sketch pencils, drawing supplies and Zart.
