A hard rubber hand roller for inking lino blocks
The Zart Hard Rubber Lino Roller 100mm, supplier code RL005, is the 100mm size of the Rubber Lino Roller Hard from The Creative School Supply Company, for inking blocks and pressing prints.
The Creative School Supply Company describes a long lasting hand roller with an easy-grip plastic handle and a durable metal axle and frame. It says the roller gives a smooth application of ink with excellent holding capacity, and can be used when a press is not available, applying pressure to the back of the paper to transfer the print from the block.
The same roller that inks the block can press the paper, so a class can print without a press. The supplier describes a long lasting roller with excellent ink holding capacity, and a 150mm size is listed separately for anyone who wants the wider roller.
The 150mm size and lino blocks are in the Zart range. Browse craft painting rollers and painting accessories, and visit art and craft supplies for printmaking materials. A plastic ink tray helps roll ink to an even layer.
