Beaks and feet to turn pom poms into birds
Zart Plastic Bird Beaks and Feet Pack of 60, supplier code PL061, are plastic beaks and feet from The Creative School Supply Company for 3D bird and creature making.
The supplier suggests a quick activity: use a pom pom for a fluffy bird body, add felt eyes, wings and tail feathers, then attach the feet and beak for a bird that will stand up. Beaks measure 1.5cm long by 1.2cm at the base. Feet measure 3cm wide by 1.2cm tall and come in pairs joined at the toe.
The beaks and feet also work in modelling projects. The Creative School Supply Company says to simply push them into Magiclay, air dry clay or plasticine. The supplier says a pom pom bird with feet attached will stand up, and the pack suits both classroom and home projects.
Each pom pom bird needs a beak and a pair of feet. Collect pom poms, felt and feathers before the lesson. Browse pom poms, craft feathers, modelling clay and more from Zart.
